SD Card Memory Reduces Recording Costs
MOBOTIX cameras are also able to record up to 64GB of video in their
integrated memory. Thanks to this high storage capacity and the option of
recording only the sequences in which an event occurs, external storage
devices such as hard drives are rarely required. This saves on recording
devices and network infrastructure and reduces the maintenance cost
of mechanical components such as hard drives or fans. The internal SD
cards (flash memory) are digital and since they do not have mechanical
components, they are maintenance-free.
A single 64GB SD card has space for:
• Two weeks of continuous recording of four gas station lanes
• Four days of video in TV quality
• 200,000 clips in high-resolution each lasting 10s
• Two million images
Ideal for dicult network conditions or Wi-Fi
MOBOTIX cameras are ideal for dicult network conditions or wireless connections because
the internal flash recording bridges network failures or bandwidth fluctuations and syn-
chronizes data when a connection with the external recording device is restored.
The option to back up the internal memory only at specified times (for example, only at
night) also relieves the network and allows the existing network infrastructure to be used
simultaneously in many cases.
